Battio’s career began behind the turntables, but decades in entertainment gave him a front-row view of something bigger: DJs shape the energy, culture and memory of a room, yet their stories and professional realities often remain invisible.
That insight helped fuel DJs Need Love Too, a podcast and media platform centered on DJ culture, the people behind the music and the conversations that usually happen after the party is over.
The conversation expanded into community, education, mentorship and professional development, giving Battio a platform that reaches well beyond performance.
The DJ creates everybody else’s experience. Somebody should be pouring back into the DJ, too.
